Writing the Musical Adaptation has been prepared for students who want to write a musical and don’t know where to begin. This course has also been prepared for students who’ve written dramatic works previously but have never written a musical adaptation. If you are a scriptwriter, composer, lyricist or songwriter who is interested in learning what it’s like to be part of writing a new musical for the stage or a movie, then this course is for you.

About the Instructor
Hi, my name is Missy Hardy. I love helping people to succeed and see dreams come true. I understand that not everyone can afford to go to college (or go back to college) to learn what’s in this course nor has everyone had access during their high school years to some of the lessons that are found within this course. Therefore, believing in equitable opportunity, I created this course to help make a difference. I’ve learned firsthand that musicals help bring people together and when people get together, on one accord, great things happen.
I’m a musical writer (composer/lyricist/librettist), screenwriter, songwriter, director and educator with a B.A. in Music and an M.A. in Film and Television.
